One Dance

Tell me..I need to know..where do you wanna go? Cause if you're down..

*SANGGGGG*

Thanai, Thanai, Thanai...back at it again with the Denim!

All our loyal followers know that I have a thing for denim, I just love it!

I also have a thing for Drake..as does every other girl in the world but let's not divulge. The reason I named this post One Dance is because it just screams Funky House and gives Festival Feels. Now I'm probably the only person who has never been to Wireless in London and I hate to say it but I am not a Festival Gal. I actually hate Festivals!

WAIT! Before you exit this post.. Let me explain!

I've never been one for huge crowds, people stepping on my toes and breathing in sweat. However, I love the fashion and the great buzz of happiness you get listening to your favorite music live. Music is universal right?

So this is what this post is all about..FASHION! Festival Fashion. How to look good for a festival without having to go over the top and spending big bucks.

I found this gorgeous cut out denim dress from Boohoo on Asos and thought it would be perfect. I love the fact that eventhough it is cutout and quite a tight dress, you can still be quite flexible in your movement. I also love the fact that it is dark denim so no chance of obviously visible stains if you spill something on yourself!

For my hair, I decided to mix two hair trends that have been trending for the last two years together. Gray and braided hair. I got a pack of Gray Marley Braid hair from the local 'Black People's Hair Shop' and incorporated it into my hair to give it a bit more of an edgy look.

Dirty Laundry

Welcome back to the blog! It's Tarina and my sister are back again with a collaboration photo shoot but this time with different brands of clothing to showcase to you guys.

For this outfit post, I chose to wear some clothes from a streetwear brand called Deck Clothing. Their clothes are casual and sporty which I love! Also, the material is so comfortable and soft which is always a bonus, so make sure to go check them out.

Onto the outfit deets! I wore the Deck cropped hoodie and high waisted shorts because my closet literally consists of high waisted bottoms and cropped tops - if you hadn't already noticed. This combo was perfect for me and I added an extra touch of comfort/style by pairing it with some long leggings underneath because I think it gave the look an androgynous feel...and British weather isn't really for that bare legged life. For shoes, I wanted to wear something other than typical trainers so I opted for something out of my sister's closet (thank you Thanai) which were trainers with an elastic strap. I really loved them and decided to incorporate them into my look.

Hope you guys like it!

Thanai here with a banging twist on a co-ord..that was not meant to be a co-ord?

I have always loved Nicce London clothing however, if I am honest I do think the brand is a little too expensive for my taste. But when I say a pinstripe set they had which was the top I'm wearing and a banded mini skirt, I thought Damnnn Danielll lemme cop that! Now I love skirts but not MINI skirts so I decided to come up with an idea for me and Tarina to do a collaboration/mashup of two streetwear brands and since Deck clothing goes well together as a set, it had to be done with Nicce London. So I looked for my own piece to match the top and I'm really feeling baggy type basketball shorts this summer instead of batty riders. I jumped on Asos and found a pair of pinstripe knitted drop crotch shorts in the men's section and Bob was your uncle! Outfit sorted! I then continued the dark blue/navy colour scheme with Adidas Supercolor trainers. The rest was history!

We hope you enjoyed this post. Please continue to follow us on our social medias to keep up to date with what we're up to!
Until next time xx

In Our Fila

Hey everyone we're back at it again with the sportswear brands for this post! We dedicated this post to Fila because we love there casual comfortable clothes that can be used for exercising-or if you're like me and rarely, if ever step into a gym can be used just to look stylish and fool people into thinking you exercise.

This post is all about that sports luxe. So for those of you that don't know it's pretty much a reoccurring trend every year in the spring/summer collections. So instead of wearing sportswear just for exercise you can dress it up with heels and wear it out.

We tried to go for a more urban edgy aesthetic for this shoot, hence the graffiti and the old brick in the background. My outfit incorporated the Fila bralet which I loved but I didn't just want to wear it on its own because my boobs are quite big and were literally spilling out so I wore it instead with a white turtleneck underneath and I really liked how different and interesting it looked paired with the high waisted joggers and my trainers.

Thanai decided to keep her style casual and simple. With a standard Fila drop arm vest and ripped jeans with a pair of trainers which are very very similar to the Yeezy Boost shoes that she got from Ego Official.

Asos stocks a lot of Sports Brands and it's always our place to visit online for the latest so definitely go cop you somethin' cute boo!
