DUME DUME Part 1

Let's get straight into this and talk about this amazing label Dume Dume!

We recently came across some of their beautiful pieces on Asos Marketplace. They were so inspiring and the models looked so beautiful and natural! We were so inspired that we wanted to be part of this empowering movement. Dume Dume is passionate about women and introducing diversity which is a great ethic to have which we feel a lot of brands lack as they normally go for models with the same look.

Jacqueline Ntephe is the Creative Director and Designer of Dume Dume. She has done an amazing job and continues to inspire with her unique sophisticated, Nigerian inspired pieces.

This is Part 1 of our collaboration with Dume Dume and we decided to combine two outfit choices in one post just to give some diversity with looks.

It's time to let the photos do the talking!

Which look would you rock?

Blue Ivy

Hello Beautiful people!

Welcome to the post that is Blue Ivy! I will be doing a lot of vintage streetwear over the duration of this month. Can you believe we are in August already and summer is nearly over?! Let's make the most of it and express our style however we want to!

As we all know, track pants/jogging bottoms ESPECIALLY the popper/snap off ones are a massive summer trend right now. You loyal readers are also already aware I (Thanai) choose comfortability over fashion anyday so the opportunity to be lazy but look fabulous is something I can't miss. I got these Navy Adidas Three Stripe Popper Track Pants from an amazing seller on Depop called Leanne Kirby and I absolutely loved them when I got them. Go check her out guys!

I stole some style tips from Kim Kardashian when she wore a pair of old skool Adidas joggers with a lace body. Now I am a big fan of  colour and co-ordination and also wanted to be different so I paired my joggers with an old bralet I got from Missguided ages ago. The two worked a treat and gave a sexy sporty type look...."get you a girl that can do both" they say!

To accessorize, I added two chains I got from Dixie Graze. I always buy my jewellery from there as Hanna always has some beautiful pieces. I also threw on some hooped earrings, and anklet and blue tinted glasses from LaModa(all stolen from my sister's wardrobe). Last but not least, I rounded off the outfit with some heighty flatforms just to elongate my legs as flared or wide leg trousers tend to drown me out and make me look really stocky.

I hope you enjoyed this post, please continue to follow us and interact with us on social media. Share, like, comment!

Have a lovely day guys! xxx
