T's Winter Wishlist

I am very excited for the winter ahead! Everyone knows I hate the cold, miserable weather but just thinking about all the clothes I could rock makes me feel warm and cosy already!

Without any more hesitation, see below my Top 5 Winter Must Haves:

1. Jeffrey Campbell Nirvana Boot

I absolutely love timbalands and flat forms..These shoes definitely cater to both of my style preferences.

2. Jeffrey Campbell Dulce Shearling Pump

So these shoes might seem very impractical as they can easily be ruined however, I imagine only wearing them on very special occasions like tea parties and meetings. Definitely not clubbing material..step on my Jeffrey Campbells and I'll step on your Jordans! Catch my drift?

3. Kimberley Wool Waterfall Coat Camel

Missguided is definitely stepping up with knitwear and outer coats. So its simple, who doesn't love Camel? 

4. Klear Klutch Flamingo

Does this clutch even need words? Let's move on please.

5. Asos Black Check Cape

One thing I hate most about winter is layering up and feeling restricted which distracts from the outfit. This cape actually allows you to layer effortlessly without looking like you are trying too hard.

So there's my wishlist guys, make sure to send any sugar daddies my way! :p

In Moda

This past week has been amazing-and hectic- as I've had a chance to see some of the amazing talent that London fashion designers have to offer. London is filled with a diverse, cultured group of people and it was great to see all that diversity and creativity represented in the best way possible, draped over a beautiful person with bright lights and music. If you haven't realized already I'm referring to London Fashion week.

Last Friday to kick off Clothes Over Peoples' LFW we went to the In Moda fashion show in Shoreditch. It was a great show with designers showcasing their astonishing collections which not only made me want to find somewhere to wear these amazing clothes but also made me think about some bigger issues like climate change.

Two of the collections that really stood out to me were the CrysChrisCouture collection and the Clime It Brothers collection.

The CrysChrisCouture collection was full of beautiful and elegant pieces that would make you stand out in any room. I was also lucky enough to meet the designer beforehand and for the first time in my life being early for something- I guess there was some truth in that early bird, worm saying. The designer, Margaret was so nice and still looked amazing even after working all day preparing for the show and barely having anything to eat but some dry bread! Her hard work paid off  as her collection definitely astonished everyone including myself and my sister.

The Clime It Brothers collection was another one of my favourites. Their collection was street wear and so was full of t-shirts and jumpers with stunning prints on them that envisioned polar bears and melting ice caps as a result of climate change. It reminded me that fashion isn't always just done for fun or to make a profit but it is also a great platform to use for bringing attention to important issues that we all need to look at.

Whats going on everyone? I kept my promise of trying to post every other day. Well this is the first time I'm doing it so maybe I shouldn't get too happy but hopefully I can keep it up. 

This is the first post since we started the blog where you'll be able to see me and T going out together and the outfits we wore. Monochrome is, to me, a timeless style that you can never go wrong with so I like to stick to the basic colors of black and white generally. However on this event I decided to go with a sporty look, after all being comfortable is the most important thing when choosing an outfit and whats more comfortable than some shorts, a crop top and some trainers?

Here's the pictures we took at the train station before the heat and the rain ruined our outfits and more importantly...our hair.

Black x White

It's T here and last night I went to the Bafta hq for the national Cut films awards hosted by Jack Whitehall. The competition this year was about an anti-tobacco short film presented by The Deborah Hutton Campaign. Please if/when you have the time research Cut Films and have a look at all the great things they are doing for young people. If you love media and film making, have a look!
