Luxemme Voucher Giveaway

Hey Guys!

I'm back with a Winter Monochrome Look and an amazing giveaway!

Those of you who have been following the blog and our social media will know that we have been collaborating with the fashion brand Luxemme. The clothes they sell are very unique and give a you such a sophisticated yet classic look. I fell inlove with their evening jumpsuits for women and when I saw this particular jumpsuit, I knew it had to be mine. Jumpsuits are not always the easiest to style but Luxemme have designed them in such a way you can wear them dressed up or down.

As you can see and reading 'About T' page on the blog, you guys know I prefer comfortable fashion so that is what I opted for! I decided to do a smart kind of sports luxe look with my favourite shoes in the world.. yes, Adidas Superstars. The thing I loved the most about this jumpsuit was how versatile it is as well how comfortable and well tailored it is.

And yes, I have changed my hair...AGAIN! A post will be up soon about my grey ombre bob so keep a lookout!

If you guys like the outfit and would like to see more of Luxemme's amazing range, click here to be directed to their website.

Before we get onto the Giveaway, we would like to inform you that these vouchers were initially for the Christmas Giveaway however, for personal reasons we don't celebrate Christmas and thought it would be more appropriate and better to do an end of year giveaway as we didn't want you lovely readers to miss out. So without further ado..

Two Outfits in One Closet

The Dynamic Duo are back!

This is the first time you guys will be seeing us together as normally one is doing the photography and the other is modelling..NOT TODAY! We have had to opportunity to work with an amazing photographer by the name of Marcelle Johnson (Instagram: @celliie - go check her out)

As we are still quite new in regards to blogging, we wanted to widen our horizons and do a lot more location scouting to get some really good pictures. We will be working with Marcelle throughout the first of the new year as right now we have come to a point where we want to experiment and try a few things out.

This post is a lot less about the clothes (*GASPS* - have we betrayed you?!), but is more about our plans as bloggers and what you, our readers can look forward to seeing in the upcoming year.

We've enjoyed all the aspects of blogging whether it be photography, location scouting, writing, filming or simply just taking a selfie cause you know you look good in the clothes!

One positive thing we would like to do as we feel this isn't done a lot is build up, support and shout out our fellow bloggers whether they be new or old. We all started somewhere and we all have a passion for something so where is the harm in encouraging that passion? Shout out to BloggingGals as they promote such a positive blogging community and that's the way it should be. So we hope to do a lot of collaborations in the new year with both bloggers and brands.

Myself (Thanai) enjoys writing as the majority of you know and I think it's time I shared my poems and just general blubber/self talks etc on the blog. I have never claimed to be a writer but I'm a sharer of thoughts and would love to share them with you lovely readers. I also plan to hopefully have a YouTube channel up and running as I loveee makeup. Currently in the process of setting up a little room for my video set up ...eeek can't wait to show you guys! Last but not least I have a trip to LA really soon so make sure to keep up with all the pictures and videos over on our Instagram  (clxthesoverpeople)

Tarina has so many ideas and plans in regards to possibly doing a clothing line or maybe a collective. BUT I won't give you guys anymore spoilers, just wait on it!

So I decided to go for a simple winter look which consisted of knitted dress which is my staple item this season with unconventional lace up nude thigh high boots and black jeans underneath. The look is simple yet sophisticated. Warm but icy! We did our first photoshoot in Holland Park and we absolutely loved it! Our photographer is an amazing individual, so bubbly and encouraging. She made us feel so relaxed and that's what you look for in a photographer.

Tarina decided to go for a nude/grungey look which worked well. She's a natural in front of the camera! Her look could easily been worn on a lunch date or even a Friday at work! It is so versatile and is the definition of smart casual.

The next post will be a chance for you guys to enter my giveaway for the new year so stay tuned!

Knit x Leather

Are you guys starting to feel the chills? I know I am!

If it's not rain, it's wind or both! I refuse to let this weather disrupt my style and comfort.

Knitwear will always be that go to piece of clothing for warmth and fashion and recently this summer/spring it has made its way to the spotlight in many different textures and styles.

So how do you take a normal roll/turtle neck jumper into a stylish outfit?

Good question!

Now this may not be a celebrity stylist opinion as I wear what what regardless of one's unneeded thoughts but I think it's always a good idea to mix knitwear with different textures.

I decided to mix it up a little and add a faux leather skirt of the similar colour and added some nude/cream heels to elongate my legs (working hard in the gym guys!). I added a pair of vintage glasses, a glitter clutch bag and watch and Bob's your uncle! This outfit is perfect for a date night or a chilled evening.
