Kendall Jenner Street Style

Hey everyone.
Back at it again with another post!

So I'll get straight to it. This post was inspired by my favourite member of the Kardashian clan, Kendall Jenner. She recently got photographed in this outfit(pictured below) and I loved it so much, I decided to recreate it. Now even though the Kardashian family are always setting trends and influencing a lot of the street style we see by bloggers, the outfits they wear are generally not things us 'ordinary folk' would wear on a daily basis-e.g. Kendall's reoccurring jeans and see through top combo. So every once in a while I like to do a recreation/inspired by post just to see if these looks can be pulled off on someone who isn't a famous celebrity/model.
So if you like this post you can look at some of our similar posts here:

Now let's play spot the differences. I couldn't find a bodysuit like Kendall's anywhere in the UK. But I have to pay homage to the designer and stylist Sami Miro that hooked Kendall up with this fire bodysuit and has a clothing brand in LA called Sami Miro Vintage . Her work is amazing and her ambition and drive is so encouraging.

I did some DIY to make it work by sewing a denim choker onto a mesh bodysuit that I already had. Some other changes I made to the original look included wearing high waisted jeans because lets be honest, high waisted is always better. Also because I wanted to be able to see the ragged hem of the jeans I didn't tuck them into the boots.

*DISCLAIMER* I am by no means trying to duplicate Sami Miro's clothes and selling them. This is a one off outfit that I took from style inspo.

That is it! You can never go wrong with some denim.

Denim Wasteland

This week'@+s outfit was all about denim.
Denim is the reigning king of casualwear, its used for tops, jeans, jackets, dresses and more recently even shoes- I'm not too sure how to feel about that yet....

Ragged and deconstructed denim is especially In right now. As this outfit is all about ragged denim we had to have a background to match *inserts old abandoned factory* and voila! We have this week's shoot. On one hand this shoot was exciting because it's literally an abandoned factory and it looked cool. Buttt on the other hand I have an overactive imagination so I was constantly afraid that something or someone would pop out. However none of that matters because in the end we did get some really good photos thanks to our photographer and my developing Photoshop skills.

I will let the photos speak for themselves.

Hope you enjoy and don't forget to check out our other posts.

Monochrome

Hey everyone,
I'm back with another post!
Todays outfit is all about layering. Living in a place where the weather can go from sunny to windy to rainy and then back to sunny again, all in the course of one day layering is key. For a long time I wanted to do an post about this knitted fringe top but it has been freezing outside and I'm not about to catch a cold for a good picture. So I decided to layer it over this white shirt. White shirts for me are a staple item-I own about 8 different styles of white shirts, and I'm still looking for more-they can be dressed up or down and make any outfit look a little more put together. The contrasting black and white colours are also perfect in highlighting the fringe detail of the top. I paired these tops with black jeans and black over the knee boots, although the outfit would look just as good if not better without the jeans as the shirt is long enough to be a shirt/dress.

On a side note- I found this great white wall around the corner from my house which I love so you will definitely be seeing more posts with that as our background.
