Are you an afternoon tea type of person? Well, I wasn't..until I visited the beautiful Landmark London in Marylebone on Monday thanks to Ladbrokes I got to celebrate Wimbledon 2015 in style!
I first was welcomed through the doors at the hotel by a handsome young man who was very helpful and could see I was clearly overwhelmed and a lost-like puppy. I was eventually directed in the way of my fellow bloggers in the Winter Gardens reception where I met Katy and Ella amongst the other 8 other bloggers.
Now I've never heard of a winter garden before but boy, oh boy if I ever were to imagine one, Landmark totally surpassed all expectations. Teamed with the lovely weather, it was a beautiful combination.
I had the pleasure of dining and conversating with these lovely people about all things Blogging - ofcourse! Now I'm not very good at names but I'm very good with faces (hence the pictures!) Very informative and interesting tips on how to make the most out of your blog.
And for the best bit......
Food!
As if the staff weren't lovely enough, they also cater to those of you who are allergic to gluten. Yes! I met a fellow blogger who is allergic to gluten and I never thought I would say this but I think I may consider going Gluten Free.
I think discussing what was on the menu might make me rethink my decision!
So what's Afternoon Tea without sandwiches and scones?!
There were an assortion of sandwiches from cucumber to salmon to egg mayo with choices of different types of breads.
There was also plain scones and ones with raisins. And don't forget the clotted cream, marmalade and jam!
Tea and champagne were also at hand.
As for dessert:
If this isn't a beautiful assortion, I don't know what is. Very much reminds me of Alice in Wonderland having tea with the Mad Hatter - agree to disagree?
I can't end my post without talking about the #BuffBallBoys, what a lovely and charming bunch of men who also sat and ate with us. They made the afternoon very entertaining, I mean who doesn't like to dine with handsome men?
Enjoy the rest of the heatwave week and I will be posting some more during the week so stay tuned!
