Whoever came up with the idea of light knits for summer is clearly a genius and deserves a medal, right?
I find myself looking for any and every minimal knitted tops. Alas! I have seen a few bralet online shopping but the real gem I found was due to actually browsing a shopping centre!
I usually hate any type of labour (including shopping on foot :/), but something just didn't feel right about buying this particulate clothing of trend online. The texture has to be correct and so does the fit. I also think it's important that the fabric used must be compatible with your skin in terms of how much humidity effects it can withstand as you never wanna buy textured fabric which as soon as you start to sweat the friction starts to irritate your skin. It needs to be breathable yet still comfy. Yea...I said it... comfort over fashion!
Knits add a little more than simplicity to a casual look and that's why I love them. You can dress them up or down and still look like the cool kid. Even if you're not, still play the part.
Another summer fave of mine are novelty bags! Something about them just makes me happy and my, oh my, they are absolute conversation starters - don't believe me, see for yourself.
They always add a fun element to an outfit and as it's summer, there's even more to play around with.
Last but not least.. Rose gold. I'm fully aware when everyone refers to rose gold they are referring to jewellery. Oh, quite the contrary for me..I'm referring to these amazing yet elegant pair of rose gold sliders.
Who said sliders had to just be a casual thing?*
*keep an eye out for the next post*
I hope you guys get a little inspo from my little fishbone giant braid with little daisy clips. I wanted to give the look a little flower child essence.
