Not Everyday White

I am big fan of all white this summer but what happened to a little splash of colour?

Sliders are the most comfortable and fashionable footwear right now and instead of going for a plain black or white Nike Bennassi sliders, I decided to go for ASOS very own neon yellow! They make the outfit pop a little more than just everyday white. I also accessorized with a bucket hat, again if you're gonna go all out, simple doesn't have to be completely plain so I went for a tropical print from River Island.

Double Denim

This weekend I took a trip down to Southampton to,for the first time, watch a cricket match. Suprisingly the game wasn't as boring as I previously thought, however I'm not gonna become a fanatic anytime soon. Anyway, more importantly is the outfit I wore.

I love the double denim trend, it's so easy to style and always looks effortless so naturally it was perfect for a relaxing day watching cricket. My oversized denim shirt and ripped skinny jeans along with my flatform sandals and black sunglasses were perfect for the weather.

Make-up isn't something I use alot of usually, apart from the basics of course-mascara, eyeliner and of course an eyebrow pencil- which I suppose you could say is a lot of make-up. I prefer to focus on my outfit, after all if your outfit is good enough no one should be looking at your face. However for this look I decided to add a little bit of colour with my red/orange lipstick.

Here are some pictures(excuse the screw face, sun's in my eyes)

Roses are...

Good day guys, hope everyone is having a great weekend so far..I know I am!
Finally getting to wear clothes that I had bought during winter (wasn't thinking) for summer and they have been wasting away in my closet. Its a reoccuring thing for me..soon I will be purchasing jumpers!
Today I am pulling out a skort that I absolutely adored from Missguided. It's easy to wear and style so I styled it with a plain cami top however I reckon a plain blouse or tee could work too!
Now I reckon I could style these with some trainers however I have none! So moving on swiftly, I styled them with Riverisland's very own T bar barely there sandals and trust me its not an over statement when they said barely there. Felt as if I were walking on air. Regardless, I love them and they definitely make the outfit pop!
I also snuck in a close up of a veil garland headband that I absolutely love from asos!

As Seen On Screen

Hey People,

It's T and yes I'm happy to say our first official blog post is to do with ASOS. As Seen On Screen.

This whole week they had a Body Scanning Event for all those customers who have bought something and felt like it hasn't fit as nicely as they thought it would. Brilliant idea!

Just being privileged enough to be present where all the magic happens was overwhelming, we as customers get to have a say as well as advice on their fittings as well.

The Body Scanning was pretty easy. I honestly thought it would be a bunch of fit models walking in around while I'm there sucking my stomach in..total opposite! It was for people of all shapes and sizes and if you still felt subconscious, there were robes and you only took them off whilst entering the booth.

Overall, staff were helpful and I think in turn we as customers and them as a company both got something from this event.

I got me a £5 voucher!

So, what did T spend her voucher on?

Gladiator Sandals ofcourse!

Teamed with Crochet Lace Denim jeans from Miss Selfridge and a plain White Cami Top also from ASOS made the perfect summer look.

Hope you guys like it, please comment and give your thoughts.

Have a great weekend!

Clothes over Who?

Have you ever bought a new item of clothing and the excitement to wear it is so real that you wear it somewhere of no significance just because you look good in it?

If you said no, you're on the wrong blog honey.

Clothes is one main feature of fashion right? Besides it being a necessity for our bodies, it makes us feel some type of way. Fashion is not what you buy, it's how you wear it.

Now we don't know about you but we wear clothes that make us feel good, what gives us confidence, what gives us permission to be ourselves and express our creativity. Without using profanity (first blog post and all), who cares about what other people's views are on fashion? The question is what do you feel confident in?

While you think about that, you may be wondering who are Clothes Over People...
They are definitely not twins! (we get that all the time).  We are sisters but individuals with different styles and perceptions of fashion as you can see above but nonetheless very comfortable in the clothes we wear. Comfortable in our own style irrespective of one's opinion - Clothes Over People.

This is our first blog and we do have many more posts to come as well as an upcoming project so please bide with us. Thank you!
