Poetic Justice

Hi guys, T is back in motion!

So when I put on this outfit, the song that came to my mind was Poetic Justice by Kendrick Lamar...absolutely love that song and him!

It's a shame I don't have the braids to go with it!

But moving on, I bought some grillz from amazon because I absolutely adore American fashion and those of who have seen the film ATL with T.I. and Lauren London know that the fashion was chilled but still popping.

I then gave it a little bit more of a gothic futuristic look with a veil beanie, motel rocks skater dress and holographic shoes.

Now the grillz were the masterpiece of this outfit,  always wanted them. They came with a molding bar as one size fits all and u heat it in hot water to shape it to fit your teeth.

and....voila! Hope you guys like! Stay tuned for our project and feel free to leave comments!

Players Ball

Tarina,
Whats going on everyone? I kept my promise of trying to post every other day. Well this is the first time I'm doing it so maybe I shouldn't get too happy but hopefully I can keep it up.

This is the first post since we started the blog where you'll be able to see me and T going out together and the outfits we wore. Monochrome is, to me, a timeless style that you can never go wrong with so I like to stick to the basic colors of black and white generally. However on this event I decided to go with a sporty look, after all being comfortable is the most important thing when choosing an outfit and whats more comfortable than some shorts, a crop top and some trainers?

Here's the pictures we took at the train station before the heat and the rain ruined our outfits and more importantly...our hair.

Dark Summer Florals

Hey its Tarina! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, been a bit lazy but I'm going to try my hardest to at least have something posted every other day.

Anyway here's one of the posts that you might have seen on the Instagram page that I was meant to put up a while ago. So I dug this dress out that was bought quite a while ago from Asos. Technically it is my sisters dress but I've only ever seen her wear it once sooo being the good Samaritan than I am I thought I would take it off her hands and give it the proper attention that it deserves. Now I've been having a bit of a mesh obsession lately and that's what really sold me on this dress, I love that it's not a typical summer dress. The colors are darker making the dress less girly and bit more Gothic. This also means that it can be worn not only in summer but also in autumn and maybe even winter.

I paired this dress with my black flatform sandals and some dark purple lipstick, which I admit might have been a bit overboard but just because the suns out and it's summer doesn't mean that you have to wear bright colors right?...I'll let you decide!

Chapter 20

Hey guys, it's T and I'm back! So it was my 20th the other day and although I don't particularly see the significance of celebrating it, Chapter 20 is all about the celebration of my accomplishments and being proud of the person I have become. As last year was a little bit of a mess for me, I have embraced everything about me and I am very much content and confident.
Just to add guys and girls, life is way too short to not believe in yourself or what you can achieve. Never doubt your worth or abilities regardless of any obstacles you may go through in life.
Okay!  So there's me sending in an application for a motivational speaker! Onto the outfit details:
I really felt very oriental in this piece, hope you guys like it!

Black x White

It's T here and last night I went to the Bafta hq for the national Cut films awards hosted by Jack Whitehall. The competition this year was about an anti-tobacco short film presented by The Deborah Hutton Campaign. Please if/when you have the time research Cut Films and have a look at all the great things they are doing for young people. If you love media and film making, have a look!
As for my outfit to this event:
Leather cami dress - Asos
Perspex heels - Boohoo ..later that night they gave up the walk of life!
Crop Shirt - Select

Everyday objects, extraordinary uses

For my portfolio I decided to experiment with the extraordinary uses of ordinary objects-I know it's a bit of a random topic but stay with me. So using paper plates, the heads of some, lets say 400, plastic spoons and lots of sticky back tape I managed to create what some would call a top.

I paired this with some pearl chains on the back and a choker necklace. I loved the effect that the spoons created, making the top look like it was made of feathers. I also want to say a big thanks to my model Evie for letting me do her hair and for going outside in a plastic spoon top. It was much appreciated.

But anyway I'm gonna let the pictures speak for themselves. Sorry I don't know where most of the stuff worn is from but I burrowed them from various different people(as usual).
