Fast Fashion

Hey everyone, long time no see! As you know I've been gone for a while, been busy with life as usual but now I promise I'm back for good and I'll be posting more.

So as you guys know my style is generally pretty laid back and casual, but as a special treat I put together this outfit, which is a little more girly and dressy for you. This outfit was mainly inspired by this fake moschino bag because as you know I can't afford the real thing!

The moschino brand is known well for its satirical take on consumer culture so for the FW14 collection designer Jeremy Scott designed some *snaps fingers* fabulous couture garments which took iconic brands like McDonald's, Chanel and Budweiser to name a few and mashed them together for a trashy hybrid of consumer culture.

Anyway enough with the history lesson, my point is that taking inspo from Jeremy Scott the outfit I styled takes the trashy "in yer face" nature of consumerism and makes it classy while still keeping the boldness of it.

So, in conclusion, here is my bold, bright red ensemble paying homage to the Moschino brand and all its greatness!!!!
